First To Lead!
The 2018 First Class Leadership Symposium is an event that is designed to give the First Classes in the region an increased amount of tools to improve upon their leadership skills and style. Topics for discussion are the CPO 365 program/CPO Heritage, P.O.P Leadership, LDO/CWO selection board process, Evaluations & initiatives and more. The end goal is to ensure that valuable information is being provided for the fleet to increase the opportunity for Sailors to advance, become knowledgeable on seemingly invisible programs, understand the process of programs/boards, and become better leaders. To keep from losing this information we are looking to some of the Navy's top leaders to provide their insight that they have seen during their service. Master Chiefs, Senior Chiefs and Chiefs that will be in attendance will provide a level of knowledge that would be par to none. While critiquing the event from last year our biggest objective was to improve upon what we were able to offer the region. As a highly requested quest speaker we will be expecting to see our MCPON this year to bring his insight and knowledge on what he feels makes a well-rounded leader and Sailor.
